Any student living on or off campus may purchase a meal plan. Students who live on campus will select their plan at the time that they select housing. Students who live off campus can enroll in a meal plan by completing the online Commuter Enrollment Form or by calling Hornet Central at (540)665-4515.

The below plans and pricing are available for the Fall 2020 / Spring 2021 academic semesters.
All residential students are required to have a meal plan. Students have the opportunity to select either the 10, 15, or 19 meal plan when living on campus during the housing selection process.

Shenandoah University Dining offers several voluntary meals for off campus and commuter students. Off campus and commuter students have the option of choosing from our Premier, Deluxe, Commuter Express, and Select Plan.
15 meals per week. $50 Flex Dollars per semester.
10 meals per week.
5 meals per week.
50 meals per semester. 5 guest passes. $75 Flex Dollars per semester.
Health Professions Plan
25 meals per semester. **Exclusively for students taking classes at the Health Professions Building(HPB).
Flex Dollars are cash values included in select meal plans. They work like a pre-paid debit card with funds kept on your Hornet Card. Flex may be used at any on-campus dining location, as well as a variety of odd-campus establishments that are listed on our website.
Hornet Dollars are dollar for dollar funds added to an identification card to be used in the campus bookstore to purchase books, supplies, and SU gear. Hornet Dollars are also available to be used in any on-campus dining location. they are used in the same manner as Flex Dollars, but Hornet Dollars transfer from semester to semester and never expire.
